There is no shortage of places to stay along the Jersey Shore. From high-end resorts to beach house rentals, the coast features many waterfront summer getaways from Monmouth to Cape May. But for couples or families looking to vacation year-round along the shore, Wave Resort in Long Branch provides the perfect destination.
Wave Resort blends the warm hospitality of a boutique hotel with the amenities of a much larger resort. With 67 rooms — ranging from luxury or multi-family suites to ADA accessible deluxe rooms — they have options for everyone. The resort is pet-friendly (up to 40 lbs, two pets per room), and every room includes a balcony. Guests can take advantage of a bounty of amenities, including an elevated oceanfront pool overlooking the beach; luxurious massages and treatments at Wave Spa; complimentary beach cruisers for biking around town; and a robust events and activities calendar.

Well-Appointed, Thoughtfully-Designed Rooms
Each of the terrace rooms and ocean-view suites at Wave Resort are beautifully-maintained and packed with helpful amenities. This includes a walk-in shower with secondary, corded shower head (especially useful after a sandy day at the beach); retractable, hanging hooks on the wall that serve as functional decor for bags and beach gear; couches with pull-out foot rests; and personal balconies (which overlook the ocean if booking an Oceanfront Room). While the resort doesn’t offer traditional room service, staff will bring up any food ordered via a third-party app to the room. The ground floor also has multiple dining options.

The Pool & Pool Bar
Wave Resort offers an elevated (literally) pool deck that overlooks the beach and offers swim-up bar service. The Pool Bar offers a variety of cocktails which guests can enjoy from built-in bar stools within the pool. They also have a food menu so guests can snack on light bites from a lounge chair or private cabana. Additional seating by the Pool Bar includes a fire pit, and is a great place to catch the sunset.

Diverse Dining Options
With three distinct dining destinations on-site, Wave Resort easily accommodates breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. For breakfast and brunch, head over to Bubbi Bagels. Besides bagels, their menu includes latkes, breakfast burritos, pastries, cold brew, lattes, and more.
Throughout the afternoon, whether sitting at The Bar by the lobby, lounging by the pool, or hanging out near Pier Village, LBK Grill is the spot for lunchtime and beach snacks. They serve everything from tacos and sandwiches to chicken tenders and fries. LBK also has sweet treats like fried Oreos, homemade churros, and their signature LBK Brownie. LBK is open seasonally, but The Bar remains open year-round with a selection of bar food offerings.
Finally, the newest addition to the dining scene at Wave Resort is Soya by Salt. This fine dining Asian fusion restaurant — along with LBK Grill, Bubbi Bagels, and the nearby Salt Steakhouse — is owned by restaurateur David Mizrahi. Soya is ideal for a celebratory meal the evening before checkout, an intimate special occasion, or a luxury date night. Menu highlights include Teriyaki Salmon, General Tso Chicken, Korean BBQ Tacos, and their signature Bento Boxes.
Drinks options are abundant throughout the Resort, thanks to the many on-site bars. This includes The Pool Bar, their outdoor Carousel Bar (located right next to Pier Village), and The Bar. Signature drinks from The Bar include Rum with Me, the Branch Margarita, Lush Lychee, and the Bartenders Punch. The latter is a daily selection created by the bartender.

Heading to the Beach
When it’s time to head to the beach, Wave Resort has everything guests need to enjoy their stay. Included in their resort fee is access to beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as the use of beach cruisers. (The latter are bicycles which offer a comfortable way to travel around the boardwalk and nearby shopping district.) Access to their ocean-facing fitness center, WiFi, and a complimentary welcome drink are also included with every stay. During the off-season the resort waives their pet fee, adding another incentive to visit with the whole family.
For younger guests, Wave Resort sells beach buckets, shovels, sunglasses, toys, and more to enhance the beach-going experience.
Weddings & Corporate Events At The High Crest
Perched Atop Wave Resort is High Crest, their premier rooftop event space. The spacious venue boasts 7,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor space, including a ballroom and outdoor terrace overlooking the beach. For anyone looking to get married or host a special event at the Jersey Shore, Wave Resort can easily accommodate. Guests can also book Beach Ceremonies and access their poolside Bridal Suite, making Wave Resort an all-inclusive destination wedding.

Besides being a popular wedding space, the High Crest’s versatility is well suited to corporate events. With a full bar, large ballroom, and outdoor terrace, it can accommodate corporate meetings of all sizes and occasions. This makes Wave Resort a great option for corporate retreats as well, allowing the whole team to stay on-site and take advantage of the many amenities in between meetings and team-building exercises.
