The town of Millburn (Essex County) has it all, from boutiques and restaurants to theaters and parks. However, prior to the opening of Original Sharp Barbershop, the township lacked a modern barbershop, let alone one open late. This was a problem for the majority of residents commuting back from NYC.
Original Sharp is the community’s first “barber salon”, one with hours that actually fit their lifestyle. Beyond just a barbershop, Original Sharp focuses on more than just fades, emphasizing a whole experience of care and style. Services cater to all hair styles and cutting techniques as well as clients of all ages. They combine precision fades with high-level scissor work—an area where many barbershops tend to fall short.

A Modern Yet Familiar Feel
Original Sharp was designed by Owner Drew Le with clear intention. He consciously avoided the traditional barbershop vibe. As a result, the shop is minimalistic, rustic, and industrial, with a clean, contemporary feel. The experience is meant to feel timeless, not trendy. Interestingly, the vibe resonates strongly with former Brooklyn residents, who are a large portion of their clientele.
Locals have been flocking to Original Sharp ever since they first opened. In fact, October 2026 marks their 10-year anniversary, an impressive feat for a neighborhood barbershop.
About Original Sharp Barbershop
Drew is a Rutgers University graduate with a background in internet marketing. Not surprisingly, his unique skill set has played a major role in how he has grown and positioned the business. He’s a unicorn in the field, largely because becoming a barber wasn’t part of his original career plan. It began as a hobby, grew into a passion, and ultimately became his craft.
The Warren resident combined his barbering experience with his marketing background. That helped him build Original Sharp in a way that’s “both creatively driven and strategically sound.”
Now, Drew spends his time doing something he loves. And the rave reviews never get old. He loves when a client sits in his chair after searching everywhere for the right barber. But most of all, he enjoys seeing that certain smile when they finally get exactly what they’ve been looking for.
Beyond Original Sharp, Drew is developing an entrepreneurial project centered around the barbering industry, specifically creating solutions for barbers.
