As a child, Camille P. Green, M.D., watched surgeons save her younger brother’s life. She learned that one physician could change the course of a family. That experience led her to pursue internal medicine and primary care. Now, she’s the doctor behind Evergreen Internal Medicine in Branchburg, an MDVIP-affiliated practice.
“I realized I was drawn to understanding the full picture, solving the puzzle, and preventing illness sooner,” Dr. Camille says. Her current role allows her to focus on prevention, problem solving, and building relationships with patients over many years.

Preventing Problems Before They Happen
Evergreen Internal Medicine provides prevention-focused internal medicine and primary care for adults. The practice emphasizes catching problems early, rather than only reacting after they become crises. This includes chronic disease management, cardiometabolic and cardiovascular risk assessment, and guidance around nutrition, inflammation, and overall wellness.
Dr. Camille also has advanced training in women’s health, including perimenopause and menopause care, and hormone health. In particular, she understands how these conditions intersect with heart and metabolic health in women and men. “This model allows me to practice medicine the way I’ve always envisioned: taking the time to truly listen, focusing on prevention before disease, and bringing together my passions for women’s health, cardiometabolic health, and whole-person wellness to help my patients live healthier, fuller lives,” she says.

Getting To Know You
Evergreen Internal Medicine believes healthcare should be personal, proactive, and unhurried. “I practice internal medicine as a true partnership,” Dr. Camille explains. “I believe patients do best when they have a doctor who knows their story, has the time to listen, and can connect the dots between symptoms, lifestyle, hormones, and long-term risks instead of treating each visit as a quick transaction.”
By caring for a smaller number of patients, Dr. Camille can offer longer appointments, availability during and after hours, and a greater understanding of a patient’s health goals and life circumstances. “I love when careful listening and follow-up help us find a problem early and intervene before it becomes life-changing,” she says.
