Family Yoga

Description: If summer break makes finding time to squeeze workouts in a challenge, you’ll love this free family yoga class sponsored by Lotus Yoga on Saturday mornings at 10:30 am. Boot Camp on the Beach
Where: 45th St., Beach, Sea Isle City
Description: Kick your workout up a notch at this action-packed boot camp from Surfside Fitness which incorporates sand, jetties and lifeguard stands into a hardcore, all-over body workout. Meet instructor Cheryl Herzog and pay the $10 fee at the boardwalk entrance to the beach.

Summertime Surf and Paddle School
Where: Locations are available in Asbury Park, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Ortley Beach, Bay Head, Shark River Bay, and Point Pleasant
Description: Hang ten at this premier surf school which has been teaching men, women and kids how to surf since its first location was established in 2006. Catch some waves and enjoy the water at adult surf camp, S.U.P. Classes, women’s paddle camp, kid’s surf camp, or sign up for a private one-on-one lesson.

Zumba
Where: Centennial Park at Fern Rd. and Ocean Ave., Wildwood Crest
Description: Dance the morning away with this high-intensity cardio workout held every Monday and Wednesday from June 20 through September 5. Each class is just $5, and a $20 punch card can be purchased in advance for $80.

Outdoor Sports Barre
Where: Pier A, Uptown in Hoboken
Description: This one-hour fusion class combines barre, ballet and pilates movements with burpees, jumping jacks and squats for both cardio and all-over body toning. Each class is $30 for drop-ins, but packages are available when you check in around the corner at Local Barre Core Fitness Classes before each class starts.
