The motto at Wayne Ale House & Pizza in Wayne is “We’re not your typical bar/pizza joint.” To stand out from the pack, they offer giant pizza pies and slices, including their whopping 24-inch pie. In addition to their popular pies, the restaurant offers 2 full service bars, TVs for live sports, and more.
The 6,000-square-foot, two-floor full-service restaurant offers a “rustic modern vibe with Instagrammable photo op attractions.” That’s according to Owner Rob Corujo, a New Jersey native and competitive pizza maker. Wayne Ale House & Pizza can seat about 175 guests, with plans to open outdoor dining in the spring.

Big Slices. Big Flavor
Pizza lovers are in luck, as the restaurant offers their signature 24-inch pizza topped with homemade sauce. They also offer an enormous 24-inch slice. “The secret is to use the best ingredients and not to rush the process,” Rob says. Pizza’s are available in 12″ and 24″, and include popular toppings such as cup n char Pepperoni, Meatball and Sausage.
Besides pizza, the intentionally-small menu at Wayne Ale House offers meatballs and wings. “We have a limited menu. But my belief is to make a few items and make them the best they can be,” Rob says. “Everything is made fresh in house; we don’t even have a freezer in the building.”
Drink options include both local and domestic beers, as well as specialty cocktails. Come game time, they offer over 40 HDTVs to catch live sports. In terms of atmosphere, Wayne Ale House & Pizza welcomes all ages to their upbeat pizza spot.
About the Owner
Rob Corujo has decades of experience in the restaurant/bar industry going back to the 1990s. Most recently, he competed at the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas this past March. The Expo is the largest pizza event in the country, and Rob’s cheese pie finished 10th out of 90 competitors. Even more impressive, entrants could make their pizza with any two toppings, but Rob’s version was toppingless. Rob believes toppings should not be necessary to make a pizza tasty.
