Ramsey Tap Room and Grill Serves Dinner & Drinks

Pretzel Chicken BLT

One of the latest restaurants to come to Bergen County is Ramsey Tap Room and Grill. The new spot is, of course, in Ramsey and replaces Biggie’s. With a full bar, 17 TVs, and a made-from-scratch menu, it might just be your new go-to hangout.

When open at full capacity, the Ramsey Tap Room interior seats 160. The bar (left) side of the restaurant has high top tables, a full bar, and those TVs. Meanwhile, the restaurant (right) side features low-top tables and booths as well as a large wall of windows.

“The design of the restaurant reflects the town of Ramsey, with historical pictures hung throughout,” says General Manager Geena Di Giacomo. In addition to their interior seating, Ramsey Tap Room can seat 48 for outdoor dining as well. “We have a beautiful and spacious patio surrounded by greenery,” Di Giacomo says.

Patrons dining indoors will likely notice the Wall of Honor. As a tribute to those who serve our country, the restaurant spotlights military, police officers, firefighters, and EMTs. In particular, the wall showcases men and women from Ramsey, and you can email them to nominate a local hero.

What’s on Tap at Ramsey Tap Room and Grill

As mentioned earlier, most of the food at Ramsey Tap Room is made in house from scratch. In fact, even most of their alcohol is from local producers. So far, popular items on the menu include mozzarella sticks, spinach artichoke dip, and their wings. Then there’s the RTR&G burger; which blends short ribs, chuck, and ribeye with smoke house bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion, and melted cheese on a toasted brioche bun.

Likewise, the grilled ribeye steak sandwich is a popular choice. But even their healthiest options are a treat, such as the avocado salmon and the Ramsey salad; the latter comes with romaine, iceberg, strawberries, walnuts, and gorgonzola crumbles tossed in housemade vinaigrette.

Ramsey Tap Room also offers gluten-free options. “We can adjust certain dishes to suit dietary needs,” Di Giacomo adds. Vegetarian options include their Impossible burger and Impossible tacos. Click here to see the full menu.
