Nothing brings people together like food and fun. Which is exactly the idea behind Erlton Social Craft Bar and Kitchen in Cherry Hill; the eatery wants to craft a unique blend of both social activities into an experience guests will love.
Erlton Social is a 5,000-square foot space that features three distinct rooms and seats 150 guests indoors. (They plan to add outdoor seating in the future.) The first is the main bar area with seating, and the second is an additional dining room; which has a garage door entrance and televisions. Finally, the third room is for private events.

“The décor is an accumulation of subtle to bold warehouse styles; with both reclaimed materials, wood, copper, stone, and brick to soft touches of fabrics and wallpaper,” says Maggie Parker-Goins. Maggie serves as the events sales and marketing director.
A Sociable Menu
The menu enhances the social experience with offerings that include both shared and personal dining options. In addition, foods at Erlton Social is made from scratch, including their seasonal dessert menu. “Our entire menu is served fresh and local of American fare,” Maggie explains. “The only frozen item is ice cream.”
Current fan favorites on the menu include the cherrywood bacon slate, the beet salad, and the wings and waffles. Meanwhile, dessert options range from salted caramel ice cream with fresh whipped cream to cookies and custard. Kids’ menu items feature fun names such as “Dad don’t burn my burger!” for their burger and fries.
Erlton Social boasts a large liquor menu with 24 craft beers on tap, plus bottles, cans, cocktails, and wine. They also have a few original creations, such as Natalie the Pop Rocker; which Maggie says is a fun tribute cocktail to a dear friend.
Bring on the Fun
Erlton Social benefits from being inside The Big Event Complex in Cherry Hill. Formerly the Playdrome, The Big Event is a renovated entertainment complex offering billiards, ping pong, shuffleboard, and arcade games. (Complete with ticket winnings which you can exchange for prizes.) The Big Event also has a 36-lane high-tech bowling alley with digital screens, computerized scoring, and TVs.
