A seafood boil is more than a meal. The entrée promotes a fun gathering and experience. This is a major part of the appeal for Boiling Boys Seafood & Bar in Palisades Park. Not only can patrons enjoy a meal together, they can relax in good company while watching live sports. However, the restaurant has more to offer beyond their signature dish.
Boiling Boys can seat about 150 guests in the dining area and bar, plus 100 seats in their private room. The walls of the 5,000-square foot space are lined with TVs for watching sports. Their seafood boils combine seafood like crab claws or clams with veggies such as corn on the cob and potatoes. Patrons can customize their seafood boil based on taste, dietary needs, and level of spice. Seafood boils come in both personal sizes or larger portions to share with friends and family.

What’s on the Menu
Owner Josh Kim describes the Boiling Boys menu as “Cajun seafood boil with a hint of Korean and bar food.” Other menu items include starters like fried pickles, nachos, Korean chicken wings and tenders, fresh oysters, and funnel fries.
As for the signature seafood boils, patrons select their preferred seafood, sauce, spice level, and sides. Their four sauces are made from scratch and include Boys Cajun, lemon pepper, cream, and mala. Each can be made in four levels of spiciness/heat. Seafood options for the boil are lobster, crawfish, snow crab legs, shrimp, clam, and mussels. Meanwhile, available sides range from garlic noodles and sausage to corn and potatoes.

So far the fresh lobsters, crab legs, and crawfish are the most popular choices on the Boiling Boys menu. But they also have $2 fresh oyster specials daily. Patrons not in the mood for a boil can order grilled seafood fare such as butter grilled clams. Or check out the burger and sandwich section of the menu, which features lobster rolls, fish sandwiches, and more.
