Popular ramen shop, Ani Ramen House, is celebrating National Noodle Day with special contests and giveaways. This includes their annual Ramen Eating Contest, which takes place at their Cranford location on Monday, October 6. In addition, the restaurant is partnering with Best of New Jersey for a special giveaway: Free Ramen for a Year! (Details below.)
Ani Ramen House is known for signature items such as Shoyu Ramen with Wagyu Short Rib Yakiniku; Mazeman, a brothless Ramen with Kakuni (pork belly); and their Berkshire Pork Bao Buns. Their Spicy Tonkutso with Berkshire pork bone broth is favorite of the chef at their Cranford location. With multiple locations throughout New Jersey and New York, their top-notch ramen dishes are always nearby. The interior features loft ceilings, simple décor with pops of orange, and chill background music. Their modern, casual atmosphere captures the essence of Tokyo with a clean, contemporary design.

Annual Ramen Eating Contest for National Noodle Day
The 2025 Ani Ramen House Ramen Eating Contest runs from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm on Monday, October 6. (National Noodle Day.) This one-day-only event challenges participants to eat as much ramen as they can within a short time frame for one of three prizes. Contestants will have 8 minutes to eat as much ramen as they can in a stacked bowls competition. A live DJ and emcee will be on hand to entertain the crowd.
1st Place: $1,000 cash + a set of Golden Chopsticks
2nd Place: $500 cash + $250 Ani gift card
3rd Place: $250 cash + $100 Ani gift card
100% of proceeds from the competition will be donated to No Kid Hungry, a non-profit dedicated to ending child hunger in America.

To celebrate National Noodle Day, Ani Ramen House is also partnering with Best of New Jersey for an exciting giveaway. We’re giving one lucky winner Free Ramen for a Year at the Ani Ramen House location of their choice. For a chance to win, rules of entry are as follows:

Ani Ramen in Cranford was founded by Luck Sarabhayavanija, who opened the first Ani Ramen in Montclair in 2014. The restaurant concept specializes in Japanese-inspired ramen and bao, with a focus on high-quality broths and small plates.
