Old Bridge Acupuncture and Wellness has served the Middlesex County community since 2012, providing expert Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, and advanced integrative therapies for patients dealing with chronic and debilitating health conditions.

Led by Dr. Gregory A. Carey, DAcHM, Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM), L.Ac., the practice has completed over 36,000 successful patient treatments. Dr. Carey is one of the few acupuncturists in the United States to have served on the National Board of Acupuncture (NCCAOM) and holds a rare Diplomate in Chinese Medicine Dermatology.

Specialty Services from Old Bridge Acupuncture and Wellness

Old Bridge Acupuncture and Wellness offers a comprehensive range of treatments, including Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture — a highly specialized neurological technique used to treat stroke recovery, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, peripheral neuropathy, and chronic pain. This advanced modality, combined with traditional Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, ATP BioTherapy, and O3 ReBoot Therapy, allows Dr. Carey to deliver results that go beyond what conventional medicine alone can achieve.

Each new patient receives a personalized consultation where Dr. Carey evaluates their health goals and designs a comprehensive treatment plan. Initial procedures can often be performed the same day. Old Bridge Acupuncture and Wellness delivers results even for patients who have not found relief through other treatments.

About Dr. Gregory A. Carey, DAcHM, Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM), L.Ac.

Dr. Gregory A. Carey is one of New Jersey’s most credentialed and experienced acupuncture practitioners — and one of the most uniquely trained in the country.

With over 19 years of clinical experience and more than 36,000 patient treatments performed, Dr. Carey holds National Board Certification in both Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine through the NCCAOM — a distinction held by very few practitioners. He is also one of the rare healthcare providers worldwide to have earned a Diplomate in Chinese Medicine Dermatology, and one of the even fewer to have served on the National Board of Acupuncture itself.

Among his most advanced qualifications is his training in Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture, a revolutionary neurological treatment system that combines Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern neuroscience. Dr. Carey was personally trained by two of Professor Zhu Ming Qing’s most distinguished direct disciples — Dr. Chang Sheng Chun and Dr. Shy Ru Shan of Taiwan — making Old Bridge Acupuncture and Wellness one of the very few clinics in New Jersey and the United States to offer this therapy at this level of expertise.

His clinical focus spans chronic pain, neurological rehabilitation, peripheral neuropathy, digestive disorders, skin disease, infertility, and complex conditions that have not responded to conventional treatment. Dr. Carey finds deep fulfillment in being the provider patients turn to when everything else has failed — and in helping them reclaim lives free from pain and limitation.
