For more than 40 years, Sea-Lect Seafood has been serving some of the best seafood in New Jersey to the people of Maple Shade. As the name suggests, Sea-Lect is very particular about the fish and other seafood they use. Current owner George Gladden uses only fresh, wild-caught fish and seafood that has been sustainably farm-raised. In fact, their service and quality earns them the title of one of the Best Seafood Restaurants in South Jersey.
Dine-In or Serve Yourself!
Sea-Lect offers dine-in, take-out, and cook-at-home options for its guests. Their website even features a guide for heating/cooking your selected favorites. These include Pre-Cooked Breaded Items, Stuffed Fish Filet, and Specialty Items.
Dine-in customers can enjoy both lunch and dinner with separate menus of favorites. Lunchtime features include Sauteed Pasta Dishes like Littleneck Clams in white wine or marinara sauce. Roasted Garlic Peppered Tuna with mushrooms and Marsala sauce rounds out Specialty Fish Dishes. Entrees include Broiled Jumbo Shrimp stuffed with crab meat, and there is also a substantial Sandwich menu.
Dinner has a much larger selection of the categories above, including Mediterranean Bronzino Fillet with baby shrimp and roasted pepper bourbon cream sauce. They divide entrees into fried and broiled lists, and everything other than the Sauteed Pasta dishes include two sides. These feature such favorites as three different types of French fries, macaroni salad, and coleslaw.
Appetizers and soups include Crab Tomato Bisque and Mushroom Caps with Crab Imperial. The a’la carte section features Maryland style Crab Imperial, and a whole host of crab and lobster selections sold by the pound.
Moreover, party platters for events are available with advance notice. They also accommodate take-out orders. For example, the counter features homemade sauces and an iced selection of dishes and seafood items for customers to purchase.
Small Store, Big Taste
This unassuming building opens into a casual, colorful wood-walled dining area. In addition, customer donations decorate some of the sea-themed walls.
