NJ St. Patrick’s Day

New Jersey Horseshoe Clover

February 11, 2015: We’re just beginning our Best of Jersey feature on St. Patrick’s Day for 2015 today. This year it falls on Tuesday, March the 17th.

There’s a long list of St. Paddy’s Day celebrations that begin on March 1st in Belmar and continue on through the entire Month of Green. We’ve listed all the parades, dinners and parties in every region that we could find. The biggest parade that we’ve found this year is in Belmar on the 2nd of March, the oldest parade is in Newark on the 13th and the newest parades are in Asbury Park on the 8th and Clinton on the 15th. Both communities will be staging their second annual parades this year.

There are parties leading up to the holiday that help fund the parades and there are special dinners and other types of celebrations in many parts of the state. We’ll keep adding more listings as we find them.

Be sure and see our ever growing list of St. Patrick’s Day Events in Calendar Form and St. Patrick’s Day to do List and our St. Patrick’s Day Parade Calendar.

You’re welcome to join in and tell us about events near you that we might have missed.
