Best of NJ Editor Goes One on One with Steve Adubato

During the interview, the pair also discuss the rising popularity of food trucks in New Jersey. With so many food trucks offering every type of cuisine imaginable, food truck festivals are now also prominent in the state. These events, typically taking place during the weekend, often feature live music, family activities, and of course, food trucks.

The two also discuss Best of NJ’s first book, The New Jersey Food Truck Cookbook. This recipe book features some of the best food trucks in the state. Besides detailing the real recipes from popular menu items off the truck, the book offers insight into each truck owner. From telling the stories of how each truck got started, to interviews about daily life running a food truck; The New Jersey Food Truck Cookbook showcases everything a reader could want to know about food trucks.

Intriguing Stories from New Jersey’s Food Truckers

One of the highlights of The New Jersey Food Truck Cookbook is its deep dive into each owner’s life. During the interview with Steve Adubato, Vinny highlights three examples from the book. For instance, Five Sisters Food Co. is a family run truck operated by a father, mother, and their five daughters. Meanwhile, Ms. Fu’s Yummy Food Truck is an eclectic mix of the owner’s favorite foods from America and Japan. Ms. Fu was born in Japan, but came to America to pave her own way in life.
