Pitman celebrates the 4th with a lineup of events that last all day long. Saturday, July 4, 2015 the day starts with the 33rd Annual Pitman Freedom Four Mile at 8:45 a.m. The race starts and ends near the Broadway Theatre in the middle of town. There will be prizes in several age groups. The Pitman 4th of July Parade begins at 9:55 a.m. and features antique cars, floats, bikes, carriages, local marching bands, local fire trucks and more. The fireworks show will take place at Alcyon Park at dusk. Admission to the park is $3.00 per person and there are only 200 tickets available. You can also watch the fireworks from Betty Park, Cedar & West Holly Avenue. The rain date is July 5, 2015 at dusk.
