Update on 7/3/2014 @ 9:41 a.m. Fireworks and Concert moved to Saturday, July 5, 2014: Bordentown will host 3 days of events to celebrate the 4th of July. The events include an army band performance, a community fair and fireworks and a fishing derby. On Wednesday, July 2, 2014 there will be a free concert by the 63rd Army Band at Bordentown Regional High School from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tickets are required but admission is free. (Call 609-298-2800 – extension 2109 for tickets) To make the celebration unique there will be a 4th of July Fishing Derby at Northern Community Park with prizes for big and little fishermen and women. Admission is free. The derby starts at 10:00 a.m. Bordentown will stage a fireworks display and community celebration on Saturday, July 5, 2014. The Bordentown Independence Day celebration will feature: giveaways, a dunk tank, a Super 50/50, kids games and a moon bounce. There will be concert featuring Funk & Roll. There will local food vendors like: LaGalleria, Rita’s Water Ice, the Knights of Columbus and the Bordentown Regional High School Band Boosters. The party starts at 4:30 and ends with a fireworks display at dusk. The event is being held at the Joseph Lawrence Recreational Facility at Veterans Memorial Park on Ward Avenue in Bordentown Township.
