Lambertville is located in the western part of Hunterdon County on the Delaware River in Central Jersey. This charming town on the Delaware River is famous for many things today. First and foremost it is the sister city of the famous art community of New Hope in Bucks County Pennsylvania. Secondly, it is a popular romantic getaway destination with great bed and breakfast inns, incredible shopping, and some of the best restaurants in the region. It is also well known as one of the best sources for antiques in New Jersey and in the entire Northeast. It has a large antique mall downtown, numerous small antique stores scattered along Union and Bridge Streets and a gigantic antique and flea market called the Gold Nugget just south of town. Lambertville is located in the Upper Delaware Valley.
